Antiguan eggplant production is set to increase by 0.8% year on year, reaching 438 metric tons by 2026. This comes despite a slight 1.1% increase since 1966. In 2021, Antigua was the 76th highest eggplant producer in the world, behind Trinidad and Tobago, which produced 417 metric tons. India, Egypt and Iran took the top three spots.
