Malian eggplant production is set to climb to 109,480 metric tons by 2026, according to a new report. The production has grown at a steady rate of 2.8% year on year since 1996. In 2021, the country placed 17th in global rankings, with 92,430 metric tons. Ivory Coast overtook Malian production that year, with 92,430 metric tons. India, Egypt, and Iran respectively came in second, third, and fourth.
