Lithuanian eggplant production is expected to rise 1% a year, to 819 metric tons by 2026. In 2021, Lithuania ranked 74th in eggplant production at 771 metric tons. Hungary was ahead of Lithuania at that time, producing 771 metric tons. India, Egypt, and Iran ranked 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, respectively. However, since 2020, Lithuania's eggplant supply has decreased by 19%.
