Pakistan is set to produce 91,240 metric tons of eggplants by 2026, according to projections. This is a slight increase of 0.3% each year since 2021, when the country produced 89,510 metric tons. Since 1985, Pakistan's eggplant production has increased by an average of 1.4% each year. In 2021, it was the eighteenth-largest producer in the world. The country was overtaken by Mali, which produced 89,510 metric tons. India, Egypt and Iran were the second, third and fourth-largest producers respectively.
