Jordanian eggplant production is set to reach 39,100 metric tons by 2026, a 4.7% drop from 2021's 51,770 metric tons. This is the lowest annual rate since 1966, when a 7.1% decrease was observed. In 2021, Jordan ranked 28th in eggplant production, behind Guyana. India, Egypt and Iran topped the list, with respective production figures of 2, 3, and 4.
