Since 2017, the demand for Malawian beans has increased by 0.7% annually. In 2021, the country was ranked 28th in terms of bean consumption, with Haiti coming ahead with 96,000 metric tons. Brazil, Mexico, and the United States came in at numbers two, three, and four respectively.
