Consumption of Japanese beans is forecast to reach 123,000 metric tons by 2026. In 2021, the country consumed 122,000 metric tons, a 0.2% year on year average growth rate. Since 2017, Japanese demand for beans has remained unchanged. In 2021, Japan was ranked 23rd in terms of consumption, with Venezuela ranked ahead at 122,000 metric tons. Brazil, Mexico and the United States were respectively ranked second, third and fourth.
