Bean consumption in Rwanda is set to reach 512,000 metric tons by 2026, up from 484,000 in 2021. This growth of 0.9% year-on-year is slightly up from the 0.8% growth since 2017. Kenya overtook Rwanda in 2021, coming in 8th with 484,000 metric tons. Brazil, Mexico, and the US were the top three countries in this ranking. Rwanda's bean production is also on the rise. Expected to reach 10,690 metric tons by 2026, this is up from 9,300 metric tons in 2021. This marks a 2.3% year-on-year CAGR growth, which is slightly higher than the 3.9% growth since 2013.
