Demand for Colombian beans is forecast to drop by 0.7% year on year, reaching 137.7 thousand metric tons in 2026. This follows a 2% decrease in demand since 2017. In 2021, Colombia ranked 21st in beans consumption, falling behind Ghana, which consumed 143 thousand metric tons. Brazil, Mexico and the United States ranked second, third and fourth, respectively.
