In 2021, the country ranked third, behind Brazil (1.19 million metric tons) and the U.S. (fourth). Meanwhile, production of Mexican beans is set to fall 0.2% a year on average to 83,330 metric tons in 2026 from 84,520 metric tons in 2021. Since 1966, output has decreased 0.8% annually.
