Consumption of beans in Algeria is forecast to reach 64,600 metric tons by 2026, a decrease of 0.1% from 2021. This is according to a recent report, which also shows that since 2017, Algerian demand for beans has declined by 1.5% year on year. Peru was number one in 2021, with 65,000 metric tons, followed by Brazil, Mexico, and the United States in second, third, and fourth place respectively. Meanwhile, production of beans in Algeria is estimated to reach 118,030 metric tons by 2026, a rise of 2.4% from 2021. This is according to the same report, which also indicates that since 1966, Algerian supply has increased by 5.3% year on year.
