Demand for beans in Ghana is set to decline over the next five years. It is estimated to reach 126,000 metric tons in 2026, down 3.3% year on year on average since 2021. In 2021, Ghana was ranked 20th in beans consumption, with 154,000 metric tons consumed. Myanmar was ahead of Ghana, consuming 154,000 metric tons. Brazil, Mexico and the United States were ranked second, third and fourth, respectively. Meanwhile, Ghanaian production of beans is estimated to reach 28,610 metric tons in 2026, up 1.1% year on year on average since 2021. Since 2000, Ghanaian supply has been growing at a rate of 1.1% year on year.
