Vietnam is predicted to be the fastest-growing beans consumer in the world. By 2026, the country is expected to consume 220,000 metric tons of beans, an increase of 0.9% year-on-year, according to a recent study. In 2021, Vietnam was ranked 14th in the world for beans consumption, with 208,000 metric tons. Guatemala led the ranking with the same amount of beans consumed. Brazil, Mexico, and the United States came in second, third and fourth place, respectively. Since 2017, Vietnam’s demand for beans has increased by 0.8% year-on-year.
