Production of Hungarian beans is expected to decrease in the coming years. According to estimates, it will reach 11,050 metric tons by 2026, a 3.9% drop from 2021's 13,950 metric tons. This marks a downward trend since 1966, when the average annual decrease was 6.6%. Meanwhile, consumption of Hungarian beans has remained steady. In 2018, it reached 6,000 metric tons, unchanged from 2017.
