By 2026, Nepalese Beans Consumption is predicted to reach 18,000 metric tons, up from 17,000 in 2021. This modest growth is due to no change in demand since 2017. Kyrgyzstan overtook Nepal as the 64th-largest consumer of beans in 2021. Brazil, Mexico and the United States were the top three consumers. Nepalese production of beans is also on the rise, projected to reach 439,100 metric tons by 2026, up from 369,000 metric tons in 2021. This increase of 2.9% per year on average is due to a steady 6.2% year-on-year growth since 2014.
