Burmese demand for beans is projected to grow by 0.3% year on year, reaching 179,000 metric tons by 2026. This marks a slight increase from 2017, when the country consumed 175,000 metric tons. In 2021, Burmese beans consumption was ranked 19th in the world, just behind Cuba's 175,000 metric tons. Brazil, Mexico and the United States held the top three spots, respectively.
