The country ranked number 7 in 2021, Guatemala overtook at 289,690 Metric Tons. India, Mexico and the United States respectively came in numbers 2, 3 and 4 in this ranking. Thai beans consumption is expected to dip slightly over the next five years, decreasing by 2% year-on-year, according to a recent report. In 2021, consumption reached 47,000 metric tons, down 1.2% since 2017. Costa Rica topped the ranking, with 53,000 metric tons, while Brazil, Mexico and the United States were ranked in second, third and fourth place respectively. Meanwhile, Thai beans production is predicted to remain fairly flat, decreasing by 0.2% year-on-year. In 2021, production totaled 286,970 metric tons, down 0.4% since 1966. Guatemala took the lead, producing 289,690 metric tons, and India, Mexico, and the United States followed in second, third and fourth place respectively.
