Walnut production in Kyrgyzstan has steadily increased at a rate of 1.5% per year since 1997. In 2021, the country ranked 25th, overtaken by Serbia with 7,040 metric tons. The United States, Iran and Mexico held the second, third and fourth spots in the ranking, respectively.
