Walnut production in Kazakhstan is on the rise. It is predicted to reach almost 5,000 metric tons by 2026, up from 3,800 metric tons in 2021. This is an average growth of 3.4% year-on-year since 2000. In 2021, Kazakhstan was ranked number 36 in walnut production, with Armenia overtaking at 3,820 metric tons. The United States, Iran and Mexico followed respectively in second, third and fourth place.
