Moldavian walnut production is set to grow by 1.8% a year on average, reaching 21,190 metric tons by 2026. Since 1997, the country's supply has increased by 6.5% annually. In 2021, Moldavia ranked 15th in the world for walnut production. Germany overtook it with 18,930 metric tons. The United States, Iran and Mexico were the top three countries in the ranking.
