Nepalese walnut production is on the rise. It is expected to reach a total of 10,250 metric tons by 2026. This is a 1.7% average year-on-year growth since 1995. In 2021, Nepal placed 23rd in walnut production, with 9,230 metric tons. Morocco overtook Nepal in production, coming in first place. The United States, Iran, and Mexico followed, taking the second, third, and fourth ranks, respectively.
