Kyrgyzstan's trout exports suffered a steep decline in 2018. The country dropped to 49th place in the international rankings, with a mere 4,220 kilograms. This is a massive 82.5% drop from the 24,050 kilograms exported in 2017. Indonesia overtook Kyrgyzstan to take the top spot, while Sweden, the United Kingdom and Italy followed in second, third and fourth positions.
