Croatian demand for trout imports is projected to increase by 1.7% annually, up to 549,000 kilograms by 2026. This follows an increase of 0.5% since 2001. Meanwhile, Croatian trout exports are forecast to reach 107,000 kilograms by 2026, a slight 0.5% annual growth since 2006. In 2021, Croatia ranked 30th in the world, with Australia overtaking it at 102,570 kilograms. Sweden, the UK and Italy respectively ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th.
