Czech imports of trout are set to rise in the next five-year period, according to new figures. The data shows that imports of trout in the Czech Republic are projected to reach 267,200 kilograms in 2026, growing at an annual average rate of 4.2%. Since 1998, Czech demand for trout has increased at 11.1% year-on-year. Exports of trout from the Czech Republic are set to reach 61,480 kilograms in 2026, increasing at a compound annual growth rate of 4.7%. Since 1998, Czech supply has increased by 65.9% year-on-year. The country was ranked 36th in 2021, with Bangladesh overtaking the Czech Republic at 45,830 kilograms. Sweden, the United Kingdom and Italy were ranked second, third and fourth respectively in this ranking.
