Indonesian imports of trout are set to reach around 2.4 million kilograms by 2026, a growth of 4.6% per year from 1.8 million kilograms in 2021. Demand for the fish has been rising steadily since 1995, increasing by 11.9% per year. Supplies of trout in Indonesia have been falling, however, decreasing by an average of 9.7% per year since 1994. In the 2018 international rankings, Indonesia was 48th, behind Malaysia, with 4.4 million kilograms. Sweden, the United Kingdom and Italy followed, in that order.
