The country came in number 5 in 2018, with the United Kingdom overtaking with 191.92 Kilograms. Ireland, the United States and Denmark respectively came in numbers 2, 3 and 4 in this ranking. Armenian Trout exports are projected to reach 6.4 million kilograms by 2026, up from 4.7 million kilograms in 2021. Since 2005, Armenian exports have risen 42% on average each year. Italy topped the ranking in 2021 with 4.7 million kilograms, followed by Sweden, the United Kingdom and Italy. In 2018, Armenia imported 191.9 kilograms of trout, compared to just 68.9 kilograms in 2017 – a 178% increase. The United Kingdom was the biggest importer that year, followed by Ireland, the United States and Denmark.
