Colombia's processed fish imports are expected to reach nearly 9 million kilograms by 2026, up 2.6% from 2021, when it was 19th in the world. Since 1996, the demand in Colombia has grown by 7% year-on-year. Belgium led the ranking in 2021 with 7.7 million kilograms, followed by Italy, France and Spain. Exports of processed fish from Colombia decreased 70% year-on-year in 2018, reaching 273 kilograms. Since 2000, the supply of processed fish has risen 207%. Colombia was 92nd in the ranking, with Kenya in the lead at 273 kilograms. Thailand, Slovenia and Spain were in the second, third and fourth places respectively.
