Guyanese processed fish imports are projected to reach 632.32 kilograms by 2026, a drop of 1.9% from the 709 kilograms seen in 2021. This decline is part of a longer-term trend, with imports falling by 15.2% since 1997. In 2021, Guyana was the 131st biggest importer of processed fish, with Uganda overtaking it. Italy, France and Spain were the next three biggest importers respectively.
