Mongolian imports of processed fish are projected to reach 116,000 kilograms by 2026, up from 94,000 kilograms in 2021. The average annual growth rate between those years is 3.4%. Since 2002, however, Mongolian demand for processed fish has been declining at an average rate of 1.2% per year. In 2021, Mongolia was ranked 87th in the world for processed fish imports, behind Greenland's 94,000 kilograms. Italy, France, and Spain were ranked second, third, and fourth, respectively.
