Algerian processed fish imports are set to rise to 1.14 million kilograms by 2026, up from 1 million in 2021. This equates to an annual growth rate of 2.2%. Since 1997, Algerian demand has increased 17.4% every year. In 2021, Algeria ranked 55th in the world for processed fish imports, with Israel overtaking them at 1 million kilograms. Italy, France and Spain were the next three countries in the ranking.
