Mauritanian exports of processed fish are set to drop by 1.2% per year over the next five years, according to a recent report. In 2021, it was the world's 52nd biggest exporter, with total supply of around 345,000 kilograms. Croatia surpassed this figure, coming in at number 51. Thailand, Slovenia and Spain were the next three biggest exporters. Since 2015, Mauritanian supply has grown by 6.7% each year. By 2026, it is predicted to reach 322,000 kilograms.
