Czech imports and exports of processed fish are projected to reach 4.8 and 3.8 million kilograms respectively by 2026. This is a decrease of 2.4% year-on-year for imports, and an increase of 1.3% year-on-year for exports. Since 1998, imports have fallen by 2%, and exports have slightly decreased by 0.1%. In 2021, Denmark was the biggest importer of Czech processed fish, with 5.5 million kilograms, followed by Italy, France and Spain. Meanwhile, Sweden was the main exporter of the product, with 3.5 million kilograms, followed by Thailand, Slovenia and Spain.
