Iranian processed fish exports are forecast to hit 1.15 million kilograms by 2026 – up from just over 1 million in 2021. This is an average growth of 2.1% year on year. In comparison, since 2002, the Iranian supply has dropped by an average of 3.2% each year. In 2021, the country was ranked 43rd in the world, overtaken by New Zealand which had 1.02 million kilograms. Thailand, Slovenia and Spain followed in the rankings, taking second, third and fourth place respectively.
