Albania experienced a 24.2% decrease in processed fish imports in 2021 compared to 2020. This marks a 2.3% decrease in demand since 2001. The country ranked 120th in the world for fish imports this year, with Ecuador surpassing them with nearly 4,000 kilograms. Italy, France and Spain came in second, third and fourth respectively.
