Chilean imports of crabs are expected to drop 10.3% in 2021, from 13,560 kilograms to 7,300 kilograms. This follows an 8.8% average year-on-year growth since 2001. Sri Lanka overtook Chile in 2021, with 13,560 kilograms, while South Korea, China and Japan ranked second, third and fourth, respectively. Meanwhile, Chilean exports of crabs are set to increase 3.1% in 2021, from 6,094,100 kilograms to 7,345,800 kilograms. This follows a 9% average year-on-year growth since 1996. Pakistan overtook Chile in 2021, with 6,094,100 kilograms, while Russia, China and Bahrain ranked second, third and fourth, respectively.
