Senegalese crab export is expected to grow substantially in the next few years. By 2026, the country will export around 480,000 kilograms of crab, a 2.8% year-on-year average increase since 2021. Since 2002, Senegalese supply has grown by almost 15%. In 2021, Belgium topped the list with 405,000 kilograms. Russia, China and Bahrain placed second, third and fourth respectively. Senegalese demand has also surged by 8% year-on-year since 2002. In 2019, Rwanda overtook the country, with 85 kilograms. South Korea, China and Japan ranked second, third and fourth respectively.
