Mexico placed 68th in the 2021 ranking, with Romania overtaking it with 6,920 kilograms. South Korea, China, and Japan followed as the second, third, and fourth largest importers. On the other hand, exports of Mexican crab are estimated to reach 4.3 million kilograms by 2026, up 3.1% compared to 2021. Since 1995, Mexican supply has grown 6.5% year-on-year. In 2021, Mexico ranked 11th, with Ireland leading the pack at 3.6 million kilograms. Russia, China, and Bahrain followed as the second, third, and fourth largest exporters.
