Costa Rican demand for imported crab is expected to grow 1.2% year on year, reaching 16,060 kilograms by 2026. This growth rate follows a 4.5% year on year jump since 1999. In 2021, Costa Rica was the 56th largest importer of crab, coming in behind Morocco which imported 14,920 kilograms. South Korea, China, and Japan took the top three spots respectively.
