Icelander demand for crab imports is predicted to increase by 2.1% year on year from 2021 to 2026. In 2021, the country imported 7,350 kilograms of crab, while Mexico was in first place with 6,430 kilograms. South Korea, China and Japan followed as the second, third and fourth largest importers of crab, respectively. Since 1996, Icelander imports of crab have risen 5% year on year.
