Croatian crab exports are expected to reach around 1,600 kilograms by 2026, up from 1,400 kilograms in 2021. This is a growth rate of 2.2% a year. Since 2002, exports have risen by 13%. Croatia ranked 53rd in 2021, with Brunei ahead at 1,400 kilograms. Russia, China and Bahrain came in second, third and fourth place respectively. Croatian crab imports, however, are anticipated to drop to 2,850 kilograms by 2026, down from 4,050 kilograms in 2021. This is a decline of nearly 6% a year on average. Since 1997, imports have decreased by almost 10%. Croatia came in 78th in 2021, with Andorra ahead at 4,050 kilograms. South Korea, China and Japan were the next three countries in the ranking.
