Saudi Arabia's crab import is expected to grow steadily over the next five years, reaching 156,000 kilograms by 2026. The country saw a 22% year-on-year growth since 1997 and was ranked 30th in 2021, narrowly behind the Maldives. South Korea, China and Japan were the top three importers respectively. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia's crab export surged 112% year-on-year to 274,000 kilograms in 2018, up from 129,000 kilograms in 2017. This marks an impressive 27% year-on-year growth since 1999.
