Thai exports of crab are expected to hit 3.2 million kilograms in 2026, up from 2.9 million kilograms in 2021. That's an average growth of 1.4% each year since 1994. In 2021, Thailand was ranked 14th in the world, with Denmark leading the way at 2.9 million kilograms. Russia, China and Bahrain came in at numbers two, three and four, respectively. Meanwhile, imports of crab into Thailand are expected to reach 21.6 million kilograms in 2026, up from 16.8 million kilograms in 2021. That's an average growth rate of 4.1% each year since 1993, with an overall increase of 32%. In 2021, Japan was at the top of the list with 16.8 million kilograms, followed by South Korea, China and Japan at numbers two, three and four, respectively.
