In 2021, the country ranked 22nd, with Taiwan in the lead at 1.15 million metric tons. Germany, the United States and Italy came in 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. Meanwhile, the country's export of paperboard is set to reach 170,570 metric tons by 2026, a 3.6% average year-on-year growth since 1997. In 2021, Egypt came 48th, with Israel taking the lead at 129,010 metric tons. The United States, Sweden and Finland were the top three in this ranking.
