Brazil's paperboard import is set to decline by 7.3% year on year CAGR over the next five years, according to a recent report. In 2021, the country was ranked 48th in terms of import with 466,620 metric tons, while Algeria overtook with 466,620 metric tons. Germany, the US and Italy were the 2nd, 3rd and 4th ranked countries, respectively. Meanwhile, Brazilian paperboard export is expected to grow by 0.8% year on year over the same period. In 2021, the country was ranked 18th in terms of export with 1,990,700 metric tons, while Japan overtook with 1,990,700 metric tons. The US, Sweden and Finland were the 2nd, 3rd and 4th ranked countries, respectively.
