Demand for paperboard in Uganda is expected to reach 132,230 metric tons by 2026, up 1.9% year-on-year from 2021's 117,620 metric tons. This marks a 2.3% increase since 1966. In 2021, Uganda ranked 85th, behind Paraguay's 117,620 metric tons. Germany, the United States and Italy came in second, third and fourth in the rankings, respectively. Ugandan paperboard exports are forecast to reach 5,750 metric tons by 2026, up 2.9% from 2021's 4,790 metric tons. This is a 12.9% increase since 1997. In 2021, Uganda ranked 88th, behind Azerbaijan's 4,790 metric tons. The United States, Sweden and Finland placed second, third and fourth in the rankings, respectively.
