Paperboard imports are set to reach a total of nearly 18,000 metric tons by 2026, growing at an average rate of 1.7 percent each year since 1966. In 2021, Tajikistan topped the country rankings with 16,130 metric tons, followed by Germany, the United States, and Italy. Meanwhile, paperboard exports saw a sharp decrease of 50 percent in 2020 compared to the year before, totaling 28 metric tons. Since 1997, supplies have declined by 40.5 percent each year on average. The British Virgin Islands came in first place, with the United States, Sweden, and Finland taking the next three spots.
