Germany, the United States, and Italy were the top three importers, respectively. Exports of Russian paperboard are projected to reach nearly 4 million metric tons by 2026, an increase of 1.7% year-on-year. Since 1997, exports have grown 4.8% annually. In 2021, Russia was in 10th place in the global rankings, having been overtaken by Belgium with 3.6 million metric tons. The United States, Sweden, and Finland were the top three exporters, respectively.
