Demand for paperboard in Estonia is set to reach 142,630 metric tons by 2026. This is a 0.2% increase year on year on average, since 1997, when demand was down by 2.6%. Estonia ranked 81st in 2021, with Kuwait coming ahead at 137,540 metric tons. Germany, the United States and Italy respectively ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th in this ranking. Estonia came in 56th in 2021, with Paraguay overtaking at 69,250 metric tons. The United States, Sweden and Finland respectively ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Finally, paperboard sales in Estonia hit €110.6 million in 2020, a 13% decrease from the previous year’s €127.1 million. Since 2014, the market has declined by 2.1% year on year. Estonia was 25th in 2020, with Croatia surpassing at €110.6 million. Finland, Sweden and Austria respectively came in 2nd, 3rd and 4th in this ranking.
