Demand for paperboard in East Timor is on the rise. It is set to grow by three percent annually, reaching 1,130 metric tons by 2026. In 2021, the country was 176th in the ranking, with 877 metric tons. The Faroe Islands was ahead at 877 metric tons, followed by Germany, the United States, and Italy. East Timor's paperboard exports, however, are expected to fall by 6.8 percent year-on-year, reaching 26 metric tons by 2026. In 2021, the country placed 173rd in the ranking, with 40 metric tons, behind Montenegro. The United States, Sweden, and Finland were the top three countries in this ranking. Since 2008, East Timorese supply has declined by 12.9 percent year-on-year.
