The United States, Germany, and Japan claimed the second, third, and fourth spots, respectively. On the production front, Uganda is expected to produce 5.86 million bags of 60 kg coffee by 2028, rising from 5.29 million bags in 2023, at an annual growth rate of 1.6%. Since 1995, Ugandan coffee supply has seen a yearly increase of 2.4%. In 2023, Uganda was the eighth-largest coffee producer, overtaken by India with 5.29 million bags. Vietnam, Colombia, and Indonesia occupied the second, third, and fourth positions in coffee production.
